Finally the technical tests have been completed.
Our LOGPAY / DIESEL 24 toll Cards can now be used to pay your DarsGo Boxes in Postpay procedure.
We recommend to pick up new DarsGO boxes at one of the numerous DARS distribution offices.
Therefore it is advisable to go there with copies of vehicle papers and ideally an extract of company‘s data.
Employees at Dars distribution points are well trained. You will get a new DarsGo box and the proof of the Euro emission class will be done right away.
At Dars distribution points prepay boxes can be converted to Postpay IMMEDIATELY.
Still, one-time processing fee of € 10, - per box must be paid with cash or bank card.

TOLL SLOVENIA
Starting on 1st of April 2018
DarsGo devices (On Board Units) will become mandatory in Slovenia.
(These new DarsGO boxes have nothing to do with the former ABC boxes).
The new DarsGo Boxes will be mandatory for all vehicles whose maximum permissible mass exceeds 3.5 tonnes.
The new Slovenian DarsGo Boxes will replace the DARS Card which is valid until 31.03.2018.
The new DarsGo boxes can be used in two ways:
Prepay - by uploading a credit or
Postpay - by depositing a payment card (Logpay / Diesel24 toll card)
You can already register your company as a DARS customer on the new DarsGO website. You can also register your vehicles online and order new DarsGo boxes (only if your company is registered in the EU).

At the moment we recommend to pick up new DarsGO boxes at one of the numerous DARS distribution points.
When picking up new boxes you should show Dars staff copies your vehicle papers and an extract of the company data.
The DARS employees at Dars distribution points are well trained. There you get IMMEDIATELY a (prepay) box and the proof of the euro emission class is also done right away.
The most important thing is to have a working DarsGO box on 01.04.2018.
That's why we recommend to pick up the required number of (prepay) boxes on yournext trip to Slovenia and also prove the Euro emission classes then.
We will be pleased to help you changing Prepay to Postpay payment later on.

Starting on 1st of April 2018

These Slovenian Go Boxes will replace the DARS card (valid until 31.03.2018).

GENERAL RENOVATION A23: AUSTRIA
A 23 Southeast Tangente Vienna – General renovation Stadlau - Hirschstetten
From Monday, July 10, 2017, until Sunday, September 3, 2017, you will be able to use only one trail in the direction of Stadlau and Hirschstetten, valid in in both directions. The reason: during this time we rehabilitate the Stadlau and Hirschstetten tunnels and also three kilometers of roadway. The tunnels are equipped with the latest safety technology. This means: even more traffic safety for daily more than 90,000 drivers.
For the work we have to lock one directional lane for the traffic from 10thJuly to 3rd September.
This means for you:
- From Montag, 07/10 on,, only one lane is left open for each direction of travel.
- Oncoming traffic in the tunnel
- Exit Stadlau/Genochplatz in direction Gänserndorf will be closed from 8th to 16th August 2017.
These locks might lead to disabilities and traffic jam on the S 2 Wiener Nordrand Schnellstraße and the A 5 Nord / Weinviertel motorway!
Our tip: Avoid big spaces! Via A5 Weinviertel motorway to the junction Eibesbrunn, continue on the S1 Wiener Außenring Schnellstraße to the junction Korneuburg West and from there via A22 Donauufer motorway to the junction Kaisermühlen to the A23. This detour is also valid for the opposite direction

For several days, the highway police in Frisange has been carrying out massive checks!
Departing transit trucks will be punished with € 250, - !
In the past, the police allowed drivers to leave the motorway at Frisange and refuel in Rue Schumann,
If the drivers drove the shortest route to refuel and returned then to the motorway.
This tolerance obviously no longer applies.
If the situation in Frisange changes again, we will inform you immediately.

AT: CLOSURE ARLBERG ROAD TUNNEL 2017
Closure of the Arlberg Road Tunnel from 24 April to 2 October 2017
The Arlberg Road Tunnel on the S 16 Arlberg expressway between Tyrol and Vorarlberg will be closed to all traffic in both directions from 24 April to 2 October 2017. The reason: Extensive refurbishment measures and the installation of additional evacuation routes for more safety.
However, ASFINAG has worked with the authorities, emergency services and the provinces of Vorarlberg and Tyrol in advance of the closure to put measures in place that allow traffic to flow via alternative routes during this period with the fewest possible problems.

lead via the Arlberg Pass road (B 197/L 197) or regionally via Switzerland or Germany.
Because the safety facilities in the Arlberg Road Tunnel are to be renewed, it will not be possible to drive safely through the tunnel during this time. For this reason, the full closure from 24 April to 2 October 2017 is unavoidable.
